COVID-19

Victorian Restrictions, Roadmap and Education.

The Victorian Governments ‘Roadmap’ provides information to the easing Victorian COVID-19 restrictions.

Please see: The Victorian Government website Coronavirus (COVID-19) roadmap to reopening

The Department of Health and Human Services website frequently asked questions about Victoria’s restriction levels.

Marysville PS COVID-19 Key Points:

  1. Students (and staff) who are ill must NOT attend school.

  2. Students are exempt from social distancing policy.

  3. Only the one main entrance applies for daily entry and exit - due to structural safety issues.

  4. Parents, family members are restricted from entering the school grounds or the main foyer.  However, as the foyer is a shared space with MDKA, Early Childhood and Maternal Health parents with business with these entities are subject to their site specific COVID-19 plan.

  5. For any and all Marysville Primary School assistance please do not hesitate call or email Kylie or myself for assistance or advice.

  6. All parent helper activities are necessarily suspended.

  7. All students require a named drink bottle.

  8. Enhanced daily cleaning, sanitiser stations and hand hygiene routines will apply.

  9. The DET (Triangle) School Bus Program will continue to operate. DET seating and hygiene guidelines apply.  Please see https://www.education.vic.gov.au/school/Pages/coronavirus-advice-schools.aspx

  10. Healthy Breakfast, Friday lunch orders (and sharing of food) are suspended.

‘I want to reassure you that schools remain safe places for staff and students.’
