Transition from MPS to Secondary:
Transitions from Marysville Primary are a priority. Year Six exit students are fully supported by staff through transitional days, comprehensive student reports and profiles and shared teacher to teacher professional conversations. Transitions from Marysville PS are fully celebrated through Year Six special events culminating in 'Graduation' and our 'Big Day Out' and well as the highlight of a Beach, City or Sovereign Hill Camp.
Transition to: 'Linking Learning'.
Our Semester 2 Linking Learning Program offers prospective families and students an excellent opportunity to experience a seamless transition to an early learning environment. Our six-month pre-Prep 'Linking Learning' was implemented with literacy, numeracy and building positive relationships in mind for students and for families. We have also provide a range of borrowable 'Linking Learning BackPacks' to families to enjoy at home.

2020 enrolment of some sixty students divided into 3 grades of Foundation (Prep) and Grade 1, Years 2 & 3 and Years 4, 5 & 6.
As well as three full time classroom teachers Marysville employs Numeracy and Literacy Specialists, Art, Physical Education, MARC Literature, Music and Senior Band Instructor, Business Manager, Principal and Technical and Support Staff. Student Support Officers and Speech Therapists provide additional assistance to students and families.
Our school prioritises Literacy and Numeracy, ICT, Integrated Curriculum (Science, History,) and Personal and Social Learning which is supported by leading professional learning. Our school offers all students programs including Intensive Swimming, Camping, OEG Camp Marysville Outdoor Education, Lake Mountain Skiing and dynamic student leadership programs.
We also have enjoyed F - 6 Gymnastics, Footsteps, Basketball and PMP programs.
